Emotionally free and clear...that is what I aspire to be. If we are emotionally free and clear, we are energetically capable of co-creating the life we were intended to live. We have all of our power in the present moment. Our psyche and our spirit are congruent.
Carolyn Myss, discusses the concept of "the separation of power," in her program Advanced Energy Anatomy. The separation of power occurs when our psyche travels back into our past to revisit the emotional baggage we have been unable or unwilling to release. Our Spirit cannot travel anywhere that it does not recognize, therefore it will not venture into the past. Thus, the separation of power, psyche and spirit.
It takes a lot of energy to manifest an idea. If we have a lot of unfinished business in the past, it will take us a long time to manifest an idea. For instance, we are holding on to old wounds instead of forgiving the offending party. A portion of our co-creative energy is trapped in the past holding on the old wounds. If our energy is trapped in the past, it is not available for us to use creatively in the present. Therefore, we don't have enough power to manifest our ideas in a timely fashion. The more of our past we are holding on to, the longer it will take us to bring thought into form. Myss uses the terms weight and wait. The more emotional weight we have in the past, the longer we will have to wait for our desires to manifest.
Most of what we are holding on to can be released through the process of forgiveness. I didn't really know how to forgive those individuals who had inflicted some very painful wounds...I had tried to forgive. I said I forgave. But, a 'charge' was still attached to those memories. So, I said, "I am willing to forgive..." And, presto, the 'charge" was gone! Not only was I free of the pain associated with the memories, but new people started showing up in my life. Coincidences (no such thing!) started happening at every turn in the bend! I felt more confident than ever before. I began to realize that I didn't need the approval of other people in order to make a decision.
In other words, it is just God and me...co-creating the life I am intended to live. For the first time, I am content to be patient and allow life to flow...and it feels wonderful.
What we focus on expands...
I was once asked why I don't participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I'll be there.

ADD Love
In the movie, Jerry Maguire, Tom Cruise tells Renee Zellweger’s character, "You complete me." That phrase actually is based upon scripture. However, we must love ourselves before we are capable of loving another person. Women as a collective bunch seem to be very independent until they meet a man they are attracted to, when they begin to change their focus. Then they begin to ask themselves, “What do I need to do to keep this man?” Consciously or unconsciously, they formulate at an answer and set about trying to become whatever they have decided it takes to keep the man. They should be saying "what has this man got that will enable him to keep me?” How many women have thought during a breakup, "Why am I not good enough to keep this man?" It is a lack of self-love. Women seem to suffer more from this lack of self-esteem than do men. Garth Brooks voiced his observation of this phenomenon in one of his daughters to Oprah this week. I suppose that is what prompted me to ponder this lack of self-love, yet again.
There are as many reasons for lack of self-love as there are suffering loveless individuals. One cause that I have observed, both in my personal life and in my work is Attention Deficit Disorder (A.D.D.) I have Adult A.D.D., and have spent the past ten years learning how to manage it, and now assist others in developing strategies to manage life with the blessing of A.D.D. as well. That’s right. It’s not a typo. ADD is not a curse. It is a blessing. Once you understand it. But, here's the big deal with ADD and relationships: the person with ADD cannot long exist in a comfortable relationship because they will soon throw themselves into crisis. The person with A.D.D. creates chaos where chaos does not exist. I hear someone aptly say that we do this because is juices our brain! The person in the relationship without the the A.D.D. is confused and frustrated and soon calls it quits. Leaving the unaware A.D.D.er feeling “not good enough” once again. This is the pattern of their lives. It’s starts in childhood with, “Why did you do that!” “Apply yourself!” “Your room looks like a pig sty.” “Stop daydreaming…” And, on and on…It continues into adulthood. It is not something that is “grown out of.” Many learn coping skills and manage life quite well. Many more are not so fortunate. Many sufferers are not even aware that there are millions of people just like them. They suffer in silence. They are impulsive, compulsive, anxious, depressed, etc. No two have exactly the same symptoms. They all have certain patterns of behaviors.
For instance: we are high maintenance. We don't like to go to bed. Though many of us don’t need nearly the amount of sleep that “normal people” do, we don't get enough restful sleep. We eat on the fly. We overeat under stress. We all need a coach (thus I became one!) We must find the right job working for the right person and with the right people. We are looking for the right now, the quick fix. We are exhausted because we have so many things going that we know we cannot complete. We may appear uncaring and disinterested. We are angry. We are cluttered and disorganized. We need simple. We need sparse. We need fewer choices. We need tools to survive...then we thrive! We can go longer, be stronger, build bigger, jump higher, think faster, learn more, do more, be more. But, most individuals with A.D.D. do not know this. They just feel "not good enough." Or crazy. Either way, there is a lack of self-love.
It is my prayer that as part of my life’s mission, I will be able to use my experiences to continue to help these misunderstood individuals rise out of the ashes and, like the mighty Phoenix bird…FLY!
P.S. I recommend this book: You Mean I’m Not Lazy, Stupid or Crazy, written for individuals with Adult A.D.D. by individuals with Adult A.D.D.

Visualization Unlocks Miracles
I have been on my journey for a while…
I started with Wayne Dyer. I watched the PBS Special, The Power of Intention about 25 times in as many days. I attended a military style fitness boot camp while I was at it...
I was committed.
Then I watched The Secret.
I was committed.
Then I spent $18, 000 to go study with Bob Proctor and his bunch for 5 days. Changed my life!
I was committed!
I listened to The Science of Getting Rich, Wallace Wattles, until I had it memorized.
I was committed!
I listened to Joe Vitale’s Zero Limits countless times. I loved it!
I was committed.
I attracted the right folks, invested over $100,000, and opened a gym.
I was committed.
Then EVERTHING WENT WRONG. Closed the business after 1 year. Lessons learned.
I was still committed.
I ordered Joe Vitale’s The Awakening Course. I wore the cds out. It was marvelous! I was awakening!
I was committed.
My husband became critically ill with a mystery disease, almost died.
I ordered the Zero Limits DVD workshop with Joe Vitale and Dr. Hew Len.
I watched the DVDs over and over again. I practiced Ho’oponopono constantly. (Still clearing with it quite a lot.) This is good stuff. I was getting better and better every day.
I was committed.
I began to attract energy healers, learned EFT and other clearing techniques. I cleared out a lot of junk! I listened to Carolyn Myss’ Advanced Energy Anatomy for 2 months. I read Louise Hays’ You Can Heal Your Life. I worked her workbook.
Somewhere along the way, the person I was becoming became the focal point. I began to share my knowledge and experiences. Other people began to want what I had…
Here’s the thing…it’s what I didn’t have that made the difference in the person I was and the person I am becoming. I didn’t have a lot of people to forgive. I had finally been able to find forgiveness. I didn’t have an ax to grind. That took way too much energy. I didn’t need to rush, hurry or have it NOW. I didn’t have the constant urge to control or change my children, husband, circumstances, etc.
The absence of all of the “junk” and all the “noise” is peace. It is finally being clear enough, having enough clarity, to enter into “God’s rest.”
At this point whatever I had was “enough,” and I was seeing, at least on an intellectual level, that “I am enough.” Everything belongs to God, including me, so it is O.K. for me to have whatever shows up for me…it is a matter of, “Look what the Lord has done.” Then a friend sent me an article, Taking Visualization to a Whole New Level, about the work of Judy Hansen. Judy is an energy intuitive who uses guided meditations and what she calls "enscripts" to read people's energy. This article really resonated with me for some reason, though I couldn’t articulate why. Within the next couple of days, another friend showed me a page from book which listed the necessary steps to manifestation. Ah ha!
I had been visualizing the desires of my heart throughout my journey with total commitment to the process…but, until that moment I had been building a house without lumber, bricks, mortar, etc., in other words, without the raw materials! Now, I had all the necessary ingredients. The necessary element in the process is “The Light of Christ” aka “The Spirit of Christ” aka “The Spirit of God.” It is the “formless, thinking stuff” Wallace Wattles and Napoleon Hill refer to…it is the “stuff” out of which everything we can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch is made!
Now, I held the key to unlocking the mystery…begin the manifestation process by visually gathering up “The Light of Christ.” Visualize yourself pulling in pure white light and packing it tightly around your body, feel the warmth, the tingle of the energy; see the pure white light coming in the top of your head and spreading to fill every part of your body. Move on to visualizing the desires of your heart being formed by the pure white light. Now, that feels incredible!
Keep on living and loving and watching the miracles flow into your life and exclaiming, “Look what the Lord has done!”
